🇮🇹 Comunicato Stampa Antico Caffè Greco

Nella giornata di ieri come Antico Caffè Greco seguendo l’invito della Corte d’Appello, abbiamo partecipato all’incontro con l’Ospedale Israelitico insieme al Sottosegretario alla Cultura Vittorio Sgarbi. La nostra volontà costruttiva, alla ricerca di una soluzione che potesse trovare un accordo soddisfacente per entrambe le parti, ha incontrato una maggiore chiusura dell’Ospedale Israelitico, che si è presentato all’incontro soltanto con i due agguerriti avvocati che stanno conducendo le battaglie legali.

Rammaricandoci dei troppo deboli sforzi dell’Ospedale Israelitico e speranzosi che le cose possano migliorare nei prossimi incontri, nella giornata di ieri si è svolta la nostra conferenza stampa per ribadire la nostra ferrea volontà di difendere l’Antico Caffè Greco ed il vincolo Ministeriale, emanato nel 1953 dall’allora Ministro Antonio Segni che definisce il Caffè Greco “di interesse particolarmente importante”.

Alla conferenza di oggi hanno preso parte tra gli altri:

– L’Onorevole Federico Mollicone, Presidente della Commissione Cultura della Camera dei Deputati

– Michele Campisi – Segretario Generale di Italia Nostra

– Professore Donato Tamblè – Presidente del Gruppo dei Romanisti

Nella conferenza stampa si sono approfonditi gli ultimi avvenimenti e si è ribadito come l’Antico Caffè Greco e la sua continuità storico\culturale nonché imprenditoriale sia una parte imprescindibile non solo di Roma, ma di tutto il nostro paese, visto il suo essere crocevia di uomini e donne che hanno contribuito alla storia ed alla cultura dell’Italia e non solo.

Yesterday as Antico Caffè Greco, following the invitation of the Court of Appeal, we took part in the meeting with the Israelitic Hospital together with the Undersecretary for Culture Vittorio Sgarbi. Our constructive will, in search of a solution that could find a mutually satisfactory agreement, was met with greater closure on the part of the Ospedale Israelitico, which showed up at the meeting only with the two fierce lawyers who are conducting the legal battles.

Regretting the too weak efforts of the Ospedale Israelitico and hoping that things will improve in the next meetings, yesterday our press conference was held to reiterate our firm will to defend the Antico Caffè Greco and the Ministerial constraint, issued in 1953 by the then Minister Antonio Segni, which defines the Caffè Greco as being of “particularly important interest”.

Today’s conference was attended by, among others:

– Michele Campisi – Secretary General of Italia Nostra

– Professor Donato Tamblè – President of the Romanist Group

During the press conference, the latest events were discussed in depth and it was reaffirmed that the Antico Caffè Greco and its historical/cultural and entrepreneurial continuity is an indispensable part not only of Rome, but of our country as a whole, given its being the crossroads of men and women who have contributed to the history and culture of Italy and beyond.
